Cassandra Mack is looking to profile everyday women who are making women's history
During the month of March, Cassandra Mack will be profiling everyday women on her weekly radio show The No More Drama Empowerment Hour, who are making women's history in their communities, neighborhoods, and in their homes.
There are so many unsung sheroes right within our personal and professional circles, who often don't get enough credit for giving back and helping others, so Cassandra Mack wants to give these women a voice on her radio show every Friday in March during her show hours 1pm to 2pm EST. The show has a listening audience of over 200,00 people and Cassandra Mack felt this would be a good way to recognize everyday sheroes. Specifically, we are looking for women who fit one of the everyday women's history categories:
- The first in their family to go to college or get an advanced degree.
- Turned their life around or came through a tough ordeal and are now using their life experience to help empower other women. (i.e domestic violence survivors who educate others about DV, breast cancer survivors who educate others about this issue, women who are HIV peer educators, etc.
- Started a new program in their community or organization that helps to empower and inspire others.
- Grandmothers, aunts and sisters who are raising a family member's children.
- Women who started a business that helps others to become more empowered in a tangible way.
